Season's Greetings

Okay last of the Dreamweaver cards now I promise.

You can't tell from the photo but this card is A3 size so quite big.
I had the cardblank from last year (Kanban) and just decided to go mad and use full A4 sheets of glitter card. I gutted some of the glitter card to make it go further though because I'm tight like that :)

The ribbon doesn't quite look right but the colour goes so nice and it's double sided so I am undecided whether to swap it for something wider or stick with it. I wasn't sure about the colour scheme at first as is not typical Christmas but I'm hoping it will stand out amongst the red and green etc.
The image is Dreamweaver stencil + embossing paste + Glamour Dust, the alphabet is Sizzix 'Script'.

Thinking Of You

I bought a new SU oval punch especially to use with stamped sentiments. Then whilst blog hopping I saw this great idea for using the same punch to make vases.
The flowers were stamped using Whispers marker pens instead of an ink pad (so I could use different colours on the same stamp).

Dreamweaver

Are you bored of these Dreamweaver cards yet?

Dreamweaver

This card combines Dreamweaver and Papermania embossing stencils.
The background card is fill-a-wallet.

Dreamweaver

Another card made using Dreamweaver embossing paste and gold Glamour Dust. This time I tried using a Papermania stencil and it worked just the same as the Dreamweaver ones (I don't like dry embossing with stencils so have never really bought many, that might now change!)

Dreamweaver

I think I am a bit addicted to making these Dreamweaver embossing paste cards.
I don't like having to keep washing the stencils in between cards but I love the sparkle!
This particular stencil is by Dreamweaver but I have also tried a Papermania stencil and it works just as well, show you that next time.

Forever Friends

This is a bit of a cheat!
Someone I know likes Forever Friends so this card is for them but it reminded me why I don't like doing decoupage. The only thing I added was a touch of Glamour Dust so I think such cards are very hard to make personal. At least it was quick :)

Dasher

Number three of three cards we made at SU class.
Again using Dasher and also the shimmer paint. I don't know if you can make it out on the photo but we stamped a row of trees on the card blank in brown ink and then also stamped the same trees but this time in blue ink on the white panel and then lined the two up.

Dasher

I love this card.
Made at SU class. We used the same stamps as the previous card (Dasher and Serene Snowflakes).
A new technique we learned was how to use SU shimmer paint. You really can't see it on the photo but the card has been sprayed a light shimmery gold.
I have tried shimmer mists in the past and could not get on with them because I felt they warped the card too much. The SU shimmer paint has been mixed with alcohol so once sprayed the alcohol evaporates quickly and the card does not warp at all.

Christmas card made at Stampin' Up class. This was a set of three cards all using the lovely 'Dasher' stamp.

We stamped on to acetate using white Stazon ink and 'Serene Snowflakes' stamps. I love the effect of stamping on acetate and actually find the white Stazon much easier to use in this way than the black Stazon (it must be a different formulation because the white doesn't have that almond smell).

Forever Friends

I bought some Forever Friends stickers in a sale last year and have finally used them.
Actually I'm trying really hard to use up old stash instead of buying new....we'll see how that goes!

Celebrate

Flower was made using SU scallop punch and gem brad, 'celebrate' by Stampin' Up also.
Dotted card by Bazzill and the aqua card was stamped using an Inkadinkado stamp and Versamark ink.

Anniversary

Rubber stamp is by Debbi Moore and the label die is Quickutz.
Patterned paper by K& Company. Some gems and ribbon to finish.

Dreamweaver

I've made Dreamweaver cards each year for the last three years and always get requests from my customers for more. You really need to see them in real life, photos don't pick up the 'wow' from the glitter overload.
This one is the trees stencil (obviously!), the glitter is Glamour Dust. I have tried normal ultra-fine glitter but the results were not as good. Ribbon on this card is from Tesco and the poinsettia is by Prima.

Mini Book

A mini-book we made at SU class.
One sheet of A4 cut and folded makes the album and pages, very clever.
