Birthday Wishes
Made at SU class.
I like the flowers across the card but am not keen on the distressing effect so would leave that off if I was making it again.

Thinking Of You
I bought a new SU oval punch especially to use with stamped sentiments. Then whilst blog hopping I saw this great idea for using the same punch to make vases.
The flowers were stamped using Whispers marker pens instead of an ink pad (so I could use different colours on the same stamp).

Stampin' Up
At our latest SU class we made six male-themed cards.
We started by stamping a sheet of white card using the Circle Circus stamp set and various coloured inks. Then, following measurements from our demo, we cut the sheet of card into several pieces, she called this technique "One sheet wonder". This one piece of patterned card made all six cards.
The card above is different to that taught, I just tried to make it my own a little bit. The class sample was portrait not landscape and used three brads instead of my two placed in a different way.

Stampin' Up

This was last weeks Stampin' Up class so all products are Stampin' Up.
We made a card and matching envelope and also a gift bag.
I like these classes because we learn different techniques each time - it's not just 'cut this, glue that'.
Techniques for this class were how to mask and how to use a Stamp-a-ma-jig. The jig is a positioning tool so you can stamp in exactly the right place each time. I have owned something similar for a very long time (seven years and never used!) so I enjoyed this class especially.

Magnolia

Image is a Magnolia, coloured with Copics.
Paper is Cosmo Cricket "Early Bird". Ribbon, ink and red cardstock are by Stampin' Up as is the sentiment (Sincere Salutations set), layered using SU punches. Butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.

Butterfly

I love this butterfly paper, it's from SEI Bridgeport collection and has a lovely sheen to it.
Because the paper is so nice I didn't want to cover it up too much - just a stamped greeting and some ribbon and then mounted on some teal coloured Bazzill.
The stamp is Sincere Salutations by Stampin' Up and is nearly a perfect fit with the SU oval punches (just misses a little bit off the 'd').
