60

One of my lovely ladies has just celebrated her diamond wedding anniversary, an amazing achievement!

I used Cricut 'Songbird' to cut the numbers from white shimmer card.
The patterned paper is by K & Co and I used a glue pen and Glamor Dust to highlight the pattern, also round the edges of the numbers.
Metal hearts are from Docrafts.

Wiper Card

Excuse the horrendous pics, as usual as I was in a rush for card club!

This is a wiper card, lots of tutorials on YouTube/ Pinterest. I couldn't find one with the measurements I wanted so I made them up myself to suit a 5 x 7" envelope. If you watch a tutorial video and get the gist of the basic card here are my measurements:

two pieces of grey card 10.5 x 5" and scored at 2" and 4"
'wiper' is 4" x 2", marked at 2" and a diagonal score from here.

When things have calmed down I might actually have a go at some videos as I have to make card projects anyway, just that I don't like my speaking voice...

Border punch is by Martha Stewart
Sentiment die by Tonic
Butterfly is K&Co

Called a wiper card because it folds flat into an envelope and then when you open the card (by pulling each end) the butterfly slides up like a windscreen wiper!

Happy Birthday

Papers are all K& Co, I added some gold glitter.
Butterfly dies are by Memory Box, I've used vellum for the bottom pieces and added Glossy Accents to the upper ones.
Sentiment dies is by Tonic, again glazed with Glossy Accents

Card is 7 x 7 inches which is a new size for me, I make quite a lot of 6 x 6 usually.

Christmas

Sticker is K&Co (extremely old)
Sentiment stamp is Woodware but annoyingly half of the words are incomplete on the bottom row and I didn't realise until after I'd stamped it so had to try and rectify with a fine pen.
Embossing folder is Cuttlebug

Beautiful You

The butterfly and sentiment strip/ tag are by K & Company.

I embossed some pink card in my Cuttlebug and then roughly swiped a Versamark pad over, sprinkled with gold embossing powder and then brushed some off in places before heating. I wanted random parts of gold not an all-over coverage.

Cone

This is a template from House of Zandra.
Paper and strip are by K and Company, stamp is HOTP.

The cone is filled with mini chocolates. Actually the template suggests cutting an oval in the front and lining with acetate so you can see the contents but I couldn't be bothered with that!

New York Wedding

I made this for my brother and his girlfriend who are due to marry next week in New York.

The card is 8 inch square (Papermania, pack of six for £3), first time I have used this size but I think I like it. I normally use 6 inch x 6 inch but this gives the option to use scrapbooking paper where the pattern is quite large and still see enough of it.
The paper is by K&Co and has a lovely sheen to it which the photo does not show.

The stamped image is a very old stamp, not sure of the manufacturer but could be PSX.
Ribbon buckle is from ebay and is lovely and sparkly in real life.

With it being a special card I prettied up the envelope a bit using Sizzix Block Party alpha and some gems.
