Sentiment stamp is SU
I cut a piece of vellum using an X-Cut doily die and mounted half of it over a luggage tag. To add a bit more definition to it I cut a semi-circle (the same patterned paper I used as a mat on the left-hand side) and attached that under the vellum.

I made this card for my husband's recent birthday, we've been on a couple of hot-air balloon rides in the past so I knew he'd like the theme.
Balloon and landscape die are both Memory Box, sentiment die is PTI.
It's an 8 x 8 inch card and I gently curved the balloons before mounting on foam pads.

Sentiment stamps are Waltzingmouse
I've used three different kinds of vellum layered up. The first one has white leaves printed on, the second is quite a heavy-weight vellum, the third is tracing paper.
Years ago a friendly craft-shop owner recommended buying a pad of tracing paper instead of individual sheets of vellum, it's much cheaper but obviously more delicate.
I aligned the three pieces of vellum and folded them about an inch in, then used this inch to attach at the back of the card only. The front of the card is quite floaty but the weight of the sentiment panel is holding the layers down, it solves the issue of trying to hide adhesive under vellum.

'Cherish' stamp is by Basic Grey
The background stamp is SU 'En Francais'
I've heat embossed both with gold detail embossing powder, Cherish was stamped on vellum.
Butterfly die set is an old one by Quickutz, loved it when I bought it years ago and then cut so many for a wedding that I couldn't stand the sight of it!

Another image from Lily of the Valley, I've added some ink (and went a bit mad with a stamp from SU - French Foliage, should have done it a tad more sparingly but hey-ho).
The sentiment is Tattered Lace

Sentiment sticker is by Pebbles Inc
Embossing folder is Cuttlebug
I was tidying up my craft desk today and literally picked up these few scraps together, then decided the colours would go together to make a very quick card.
