Hugs

Products used (except card blank) are SU

Sweet Citrus

Card made with Sweet Citrus by Stampin' Up! products plus embossing folder by Lisa Horton

I'd been browsing Pinterest and spotted a card by Tami Hewlett where she'd used the stamps and dies to make a coconut instead of a citrus fruit, I thought it was a really clever idea.

Kath

Card for Kath. I've used SU papers and a small hexagon die (Spellbinders I think)

My mum made a similar card but using a SU punch instead of the hexagon die.

Merry Christmas

Image is a recycled one from a card I received a few years back. I know the person who sent me it used SU products.

It was too nice to throw away so I re-mounted it on an embossed panel. The embossing folder is by Crafters Companion and I've added some Liquid Pearls.

Sunflower

A recent project at the club.
We used ready-made side-stepper card blanks by Crafters Companion and the stamps are by Woodware.

We used Tim Holtz Oxide inks to colour plain white card and then stamped and heat-embossed with SU copper powder. The flower was stamped again and decoupaged (please excuse my very rough fussy-cutting) and we added some dots of gilding flakes and also some seed beads.

The woodgrain embossing folder is by SU. We used some gilding wax to bring out the grain effect.

Flip-flap cards

We made some flip-flap cards at the club recently. There are lots of different tutorials on YouTube/ Blogs etc.

I've used SU punches for the mechanism, SU stamps,  and the patterned paper I've had years.

Shabby

We made this card a while back at the club, unfortunately my sample got a bit battered then misplaced, so by the time I photographed it it was definitely on the shabby side of chic.

Embossing folder is by Anna Griffin, we rubbed a little gilding wax over the surface.
Decorative card panel is Graphic 45, the front panel is a stamp by SU. There was originally another small panel tucked into a front pocket but that has disappeared somewhere along the way.

Border die is Spellbinders
Flowers made from card that has been punched (SU) then dampened with water and scrunched up.

Pop-up card

This card was made using measurements from the Craft Spa blog.
It folds flat to fit in a standard envelope.

I've used flower stamp and punch from SU
Sentiment is a Phill Martin stamp. The cream card isn't dirty it has a flecked pattern!

Fancy-fold card

I saw this style of card on Pinterest, I'm not sure what it's called. I could only find measurements in Imperial and I needed metric due to having a UK paper trimmer, so I made my own measurements to suit. The finished card is 15cm square.

I used papers, embossing folder, and stamp by Stampin' Up!
The butterfly dies were a magazine freebie.

W-Fancy Fold Card

I saw a fancy-fold card on Pinterest quite a while back and kept meaning to try it out. Unfortunately it was one of those dead-end pins that doesn't lead you to the original website/ blog so I couldn't figure out who'd made it or what measurements they'd used.

Eventually(!) I would have figured it out but a week or so ago I noticed another similar pin that did actually lead somewhere: Jan B's blog where she's made a helpful video tutorial.

I pretty much copied Jan's card on the inside but I changed the front cover design. Gingham paper, butterfly stamps and punch are all Stampin' Up!

Foliage stamps are Woodware. Sentiment stamp from eBay.

Varied Vases

Apologies for the poor colours here, in real life this is bright and zingy (SU colours Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay)

Everything I've used on this card is Stampin' Up!
It's an offset gatefold, I've cut a piece of A4 in half lengthways and then scored at 4 1/8" and 10"

Just For You

Thought I'd have a go at a Double-Dutch card. I found some instructions on Mixed Up Crafts, a really good site for paper crafting tutorials, very clear explanations and easy-to-watch videos.

I used papers by Phill Martin, the sentiment stamp is by Stampin' Up! Butterfly dies are Impression Obsession.

Butterfly Frame

Thought I'd test some of my card club ladies with this one. I have an on-going joke that I only make easy cards so this one has a few more steps than usual.

I used a cream hemp effect card and stamped it with SU En Francais.  The butterfly stamp is by Indigo Blu, I stamped and then embossed with black powder. I coloured it with Cosmic Shimmer gilding polish that I'd watered down to make a sheer wash.

I used an Elizabeth Crafts die to make the 3-D frame, first time I'd used it and was pleased with the effect.
Pebeo gilding wax was then dabbed sparingly around the frame and also round the edge of one of the mats, it looks gold now but started off as tan card. Sentiment die by Tim Holtz.

The finished card is 7 x 7 inches.

80

I haven't had any time for crafting recently but couldn't not make my mum an 80th card.

I wanted to use colours other than pink/ purple/ lilacs so decided to use copper and brown for an Autumnal feel.

The card is 8 x 8 inches and the background paper I've used is Stampin' Up!
Number dies are from eBay, I cut four times and layered them up before adding Glossy Accents and just a touch of chunky glitter.
Letter dies are by Tonic, other dies are Spellbinders.

Embossing folder is SU
Alpha dies by Tonic

Birthday

Sentiment stamp by Clearly Besotted, I've used copper embossing powder
Embossing folder is SU
Tag has a thick vellum overlay and was on an item of clothing, it was too nice to bin.

Thank You

Card is 7 x 7 inches and was inspired by one I'd seen on Pinterest by Shawn de Oliveria

Flower stamp by Stampin' Up! which has been heat-embossed on watercolour card. The image was coloured using SU ink pads and a water brush.

I started with a piece of water colour card four inches high but about six inches wide and stamped the image. I've then fussy cut the left hand side of the stamped flower and used a paper trimmer at the top and bottom of the image to trim it to four inches square.

Sentiment is a Sue Wilson die

Baby

I'm usually making cards at the very last minute but thought I'd get this one made in case the baby makes an early arrival :)

I've used SU stamps and just added a bit of glitter.
