Caramel Turtles
I actually made something I'd seen on Pinterest!
Star shaped pretzels are from Asda, also used Rolos and pecan nuts.
It's not even a recipe it is that simple.
Pretzels on a baking tray lined with foil. Top with a rolo and into the oven for four or five minutes (I set the oven at 170).
that's my mum's fingers, she was assisting me :) |
Whilst the rolos are still warm gently squish a pecan nut down on top so the rolo splats.
That's it!
Super easy to do.
They taste salty and chocolately and crunchy - to be honest my first mouthful I wasn't sure if I liked them because there seemed to be too many different flavours happening at once.
By my third or fourth I decided I did indeed like them ;)

Christmas
I love this die.
Love it.
I just wish I'd found it months ago because I would have made all my Christmas cards with it (instead of making just loads of random designs).
With the price of stamps going up all the time I am wary of adding too much embellishment to cards that have to be posted across the country, it's not a problem when it's for a birthday or suchlike but at Christmas when posting dozens it can soon mount up.
Then, without the depth of embellishments, I worry that the cards look too flat and boring.
So this die...I've just added a sentiment (Craftwork Cards) and some Glamour Dust and that's about it.
Impossible to tell from the photo but the background is a beautiful, rich, midnight blue pearlescent.
These last two cards are quite big, 8 inch square, the blanks are Papermania.
