I've stamped a SU circle stamp with clear ink and clear embossing powder on to navy card-stock
The gold/ brown strip has a nice shimmer to it that isn't picked up on the photo.

Get Well Soon

I needed to make a 'get well soon' card at short notice.

I've used distress inks, a Spellbinders' die, and a couple of SU punches.

Hedgehog

This was for my friend's recent 40th birthday.
She is hedgehog mad so I splashed out on some charms (eBay) and a greatly-reduced Docrafts die.

I think the card would have been better without the die-cut on but it was so fiddly to put together that I couldn't bear to leave it off.

The sentiment is a Tonic die and I stamped white-on-white and heat embossed using Banana Frog stamps for the 40s

Golden Wedding

This was my first attempt at a 'card-in-a-box'
I found making the basic box very straight-forward (followed the instructions on Monica's blog ) but when it came to actually decorating it I sat staring into space for about two hours!

I should have used more acetate and not joined all the hearts up but I'll know next time :)

Pink Roses

Papers are Tilda, I've added some rose gold Frantage chunky embossing powder.
Dies are Memory Box.

Celebrate is a Sizzix die, flowers are Prima.

Butterflies

I made this for the butterfly challenge on CM&P
The card was difficult to photograph, it's a 6 x 6 dark purple card-blank but I chopped three inches off the right hand side.

The butterfly and French text stamps are Tim Holtz 'Papillon'
The birthday sentiment stamp is by Hobby Art

Butterfly stamps are Penny Black, I used distress inks to make the background before stamping , then added a bit of glitter.
Card blank is 8 x 8 so it's a biggie.

Originally I was going to make a card featuring butterflies, for a challenge.
Somehow the card evolved into not featuring any butterflies at all, it either looked too plain or too cluttered.

I've had the die-cut ages so no idea where it came from originally, sentiment stamp is 'Madame Chic' by Butterfly Kisses.
