One Sheet Wonder

Two more cards made with the same one-sheet wonder from the previous post.
I ended up making two 6" x 6" and two 5 x 7" from the same sheet, I still had more left over but was bored of it at this point!

The above card, it's not easy to tell from the photo, but the green on each side of the panel is actually vellum so it's softer than it appears here.

Sentiment here is a Waltzingmouse stamp

One-Sheet Wonder

Another craft club project. Stampin' Up! French Foliage stamp set used for a one-sheet wonder.

I used gold embossing powder on one of the leaf stamps, the burgundy panel on the above card was stamped with Versamark but not embossed. Sentiment by JustRite.

For the sympathy card I used a kraft card blank and ripped the stamped before edging with a strip of torn gold card.
The die used here is a new one by Crafters Companion, it needed a little help with some wax paper to get a clean cut, but is good value I think (£2.99)

Lily

Last week's project at card club.

We used three layers of clear embossing powder on a panel cut from Graphic 45 paper to give a faux enamelled look.
Background paper is also Graphic 45 and we stamped over it with SU French Foliage

My example also had a partial die-cut (Papermania) tucked away in the bottom left but really it was too hidden to have any real impact.

We cut the card ends with a Spellbinders die, making the underneath end longer and attaching the green card, also die-cut, for a layered look.

The card blanks are available from Samuel Taylor, I haven't seen them anywhere else as yet, they are 5 x 7" but are cut landscape style so the spine is at the left not the top. They are much more stable when using heavy-ish embellishments than using the normal style 5 x 7", and obviously easier to die-cut the ends, loop ribbon round etc.

Sunflowers

Another image from Lily of the Valley, I've added some ink (and went a bit mad with a stamp from SU - French Foliage, should have done it a tad more sparingly but hey-ho).
The sentiment is Tattered Lace

Get Well Soon

Yet another 'French Foliage' card. I used all the stamps in the set with random inks and marker pens.
I actually made a heap of them a few weeks ago and then have been ill for the last ten days or so and couldn't make any cards, hence the lack of variety.

The sentiment is an old one I found in my stash, the ribbon slot punch is SU.

Thinking Of You

I still haven't got bored of 'French Foliage' stamp set.
This time I just stamped a single leaf, coloured direct to the stamp with markers rather than using an ink-pad.

The sentiment is Jane's Script by Woodware.

I made another card almost identical but used gold embossing powder on the leaf and changed the card colours.

French Foliage

I've made quite a few sheets of patterned paper this week with the SU French Foliage set so am busy trying to use some of them up (think I got carried away!)

I used Whispers marker pens to directly colour on to the stamps for a two-tone leaf.
The vellum quote is DCWV and the leaf button is one I've had in my stash for years.

French Foliage

My current favourite stamp set is French Foliage by SU.

It's three different leaves (which I wasn't too fussed about as I have leaf stamps already), some French script, a small postmark and, my favourite, a little 'splatter' stamp.
All my cards are now going to be splattered!

To test the set I just tried making my own (very quick) pattern and used it on this simple card  -

The sentiment stamp is by Waltzingmouse.

Celebrate

Bit of a grungy one.
Sentiment stamp is Waltzingmouse.
The 'splatter' stamp (can just make it out on the above photo) is Stampin' Up "French Foliage".
Patterned acetate is by Kanban.
The kraft tag is Papermania and I've distressed it and embossed with Cuttlebug Clockworks folder
