Valentine

This year's Valentine's Day card I made for my husband. I used heart (not sure where the embossing folder is from as no name printed on it) and sentiment dies by Creative Expressions, the 3-D heart is a Sizzix die.

Alternative Valentine's

I originally made this as a Valentine's Day card but didn't end up using it.

Paper is from a very old pad that I bought in TKMaxx. Silhouette die was from AliExpress.

Another W-Fold

I enjoyed making the W-Fold card shown on my last post so thought I'd make a Valentine's version.

The paper is from a gorgeous 12 x 12 pad I bought in TKMaxx, I can't figure out the brand name, it says 'Recollections' and also 'Union Square'. Really lovely patterns and some of them are glittered.

The gold sticker is Papermania
Alphabet dies from eBay.

Love

This year's Valentine's card for my husband.
I followed a video tutorial from Collette Mitrega, quite clear and straightforward instructions.

I've used some very old SU papers and Sizzix Block Party alphabet.
The initial was added last minute to cover a dirty mark, shhhh don't tell him.

Valentine's Day

This was the card I made for my husband for yesterday. I thought he might like a change from typically romantic/ cutesy/ hearts etc so went for something a bit different.

The paper is SU and the transparency in the bottom left corner is by Hambly.
I used printable acetate to make my own sentiment.
I wanted a grungey font and liked the look of this one but realised too late that it does not have apostrophes hence the bad grammar on the sentiment.

Dotty Valentine's

Papers are all SU.
Hearts are a Sizzix die.
Sentiment is computer generated.

Love

A gift bag to match the card on the previous post.
Just the right size for a small bag of chocolates.

The back of the bag.

Love

We made this at SU class. The plastic heart contains some chocolates and the tab on the right hand side releases them. A nice masculine Valentine's card.

We decorated the back of the card with leftovers from the front.

Love

This is something I have started but not yet finished and probably never will.
It's a Papermania mini album, they're only £3, and I have covered it with SU paper.

I think this is the card I'll give my husband this year for Valentine's Day. The album is meant to match if I have time to finish it before the 14th.

Adore

One of my New Year resolutions is to try and use up some old stash (that will probably last all of two days).

The 'Adore' fabric sticker I have had for a very long time so I've just matted and layered and attached to a Woodware blank. (Originally was going to be a tent fold card but it wouldn't stand up so I had to remove the sticker etc and try again, also had stamped some red swirls but it just did not look right).
