I made a few different versions of these, changing the colours or the sentiments.

Peace

Club project, we made a card plus box. Above pic is the box complete with acetate window to give a glimpse of the contents.

Card is 7 x 7 inches. Peace die is Crafter's Companion and clock face die is by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. Both pieces were die-cut three times and layered to give a bit more oomph.

Poinsettia die and matching embossing folder also by Tim Holtz, the edges are very lightly inked with Colour Cloud.

Fancy Fold

Fancy fold we made as a club project.

Dies are by Sue Wilson

Club cards

Please excuse poor photos, no natural light at card club.

These were the cards I made to give my ladies. I basically copied them from a Spellbinders design, changed slightly.

My postage stamp panel die is by Sue Wilson, the circle sentiment toppers are very old by Craftwork Cards, I am pleased I've finally got round to using them up!

No two cards were identical, I used white on some, cream on others etc.

Box of Flowers card

Another club project. We had made a version of this card earlier in the year and I wanted to make a Christmas one. Poinsettia dies are Spellbinders, foliage dies by Crafters Companion.

Fancy Fold Christmas

Christmas cards we made at club recently. I'm not sure what this style of card is called but there's loads on Pinterest/ YouTube.

The top photograph is my mum's card and the lower one is mine, we've used the same papers but different dies. Mine is by Tonic and I think my mum's was a magazine freebie.

Embossing folder by Lisa Horton, finished card is 6 x 6 inches.

Rose Gold Christmas

This card was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest, unfortunately I can't figure out who the original creator is in order to credit them properly.

I've used pale grey card (colour not showing accurately here due to my poor photography) and splattered it with white gesso.

The poinsettia dies are by Sue Wilson and are a mix of pale grey, white shimmer, and rose gold cardstocks. I've also used rose gold glitter card, with foliage dies by Crafter's Companion, in real life it's a beautiful colour.

The sentiment stamp is by Chloe, stamped and heat embossed with copper embossing powder on a pale peach shimmer card. Finished card is 7 x 7 inches.

Paddle Boarding Santa

I asked my husband what he would like to see on his Christmas card this year, he laughed and said "Something to do with paddle boarding"

Well ho ho ho, look what I found in Making Cards magazine, the perfect image. Never challenge a Crafter!

Sentiment dies by Creative Expressions, finished card is 8 x 8 inches.

More Maja Elves

More cards made using the Maja Design papers, as mentioned in yesterday's post.

I tried to make each card different in some way.

Christmas Elves

Earlier in the year I visited a real-life craft shop (yes it was a highlight of 2021 for me!)

I bought a single sheet of Christmas elf toppers, and a single sheet of coordinating patterned paper, by Maja design.

When I eventually started making my Christmas cards I wondered why on Earth I'd only bought one sheet of each. The toppers were so easy to use, the patterned paper ended up being 'gutted' so I could get maximum cards from it. I added other papers from my existing stash plus various dies, stamps and sentiments.

Poinsettias

I made these cards for my craft club ladies. We haven't actually had a club since March 2020 but maybe 2022 will be kind to us?

I used Lisa Horton poinsettias embossing folder with matching die, and added some gilding wax.

I tried to mix it up a bit, using different sentiment dies and colours, but the base is the same for each card.
