Poppies
For one of my lovely ladies. Joan's favourite flowers are poppies so every year I try to make a card with them on.
This is an 8- inch swing card, card blank is from Crafter's Companion.
The poppy stamp set is an old one from Docrafts and I've decoupaged it. Alphabet dies from eBay and I have no idea what brand the leaf die is.

Poppies
One of my lovely ladies was recently celebrating her 80th birthday.
Joan has been attending my card club virtually since the start (January 2004) and I know she loves poppies so I try to feature them on her birthday cards.
This year I made the poppies myself using Foamiran and black glitter
The sentiment die is by Tonic
Number dies are Sunset by Sizzix

Poppies
This was a card for one of my ladies. Joan has been attending our card-making club almost since the very start, January 2004, and has followed me about with the various venue changes.
She is always willing to help put the equipment out and pack away and she adores poppies.
Here I used a Papertrey Ink sentiment embossed with shiny black powder and Heartfelt Creations flower stamps.
The decorative oval die is by Spellbinders, not sure of the make of the scroll die; it's not one I use very much because it's so fiddly.
Finished card is 8 x 8 inches.

Birthday
Please excuse the messy edges to my poppies - I was rushing to get the card finished as a project for card club and I'm not a patient fussy-cutter at the best of times.
Card is 8 x 8 inches. I've stamped 'En Francais' stamp by Stampin' Up! and added white embossing powder. Next I used two different shades of Colour Cloud blending inks and smoothed them over the stamped images.
Sentiment stamp is by Woodware and poppy stamp set is by Heartfelt Creations

Poppies
One of my card club ladies loves poppies so for her birthday card each year I normally try to use them as a theme.
This year, whilst in Wales, I'd spotted a bed of them. I took a photo knowing it would come in handy for Joan's card.
It's an 8 x 8 inch card blank. Sentiment stamp is by Inkadinkado.
