Love

For this card I've used Sue Wilson Caribbean dies, it's a set of four and I've used three of them.

I wish they'd put better pictures of the dies on the packaging, it's really difficult to tell which die is separate to which and if any of them are embossing only rather than cutting. They could just print in a different colour or something, that would help!

The intricate bits on this card are two separate dies, the large oval does not cut an outer edge but used in conjunction with the rectangular die you get the effect here.

I've added some liquid pearls to highlight the frame, sentiment is a Simon Says Stamp and the panel it sits on is raised on 3-D foam.

(seam binding triple bow covering up a Liquid Pearls error)

Hugs

My kind friend Maria sent me some tag-shaped cards recently.
I've used Tilda paper and die-cuts and added some stitching and seam-binding.
'Hugs' die is Simon Says Stamp

Birthday

I had originally made a tag to attach to this card but an accident with an ink-pad meant a design change half-way through.
Then, after I photographed it I noticed the missing 'dot' over the 'i' and that I'd forgotten to stitch through the holes!

Papers are by Tilda
Sentiment dies are PTI and Tattered Lace

Thanks

I've done similar cards to this before; I like the three panel layout.
This time I've used American Crafts card for the panels, a Waltzingmouse stamp for the sentiment, everything else is SU.

Honour Christmas

Front panel is from 'Just Believe' by KaiserCraft.
(Surely it should be spelt 'honour' though, the English way, seeing as Charles Dickens was English?)

Peg

I'd been looking for some over-sized pegs for a very long time with absolutely no luck. I think part of the problem was I have no idea what the correct name for them is so Google just brought up normal wooden clothes pegs.
Anyway I finally discovered them in a craft shop at Embsay near Skipton. They have a website here.

I wasn't sure whether or not to take the pegs to bits and then paint/ varnish. My worry was that I would not be able to put them back together! I know there's not much to a peg but sometimes in the past I have painted things and it has altered them somewhat with regards to size, ie drawers no longer fitting etc.

So for the first one I decided to keep it simple and just slap some patterned paper on, adhered with Mod Podge. Paper, button and seam binding all by Stampin' Up.

I purposely put the paper on upside down because I knew I would mostly be using the peg upside down too, as a memo holder.

Literally a five minute project :)

Flower

Papers are Papermania, flower made with SU scallop punch and SU Boho Blossoms punch.
Alphabet is Sizzix Script.
Some Glamour Dust to highlight.

Matching notebook.
Paper by Papermania, seam binding from the Ribbon Girl.
'Remember' is a Making Memories rub-on.
Notebook is a cheap one (sorry Maria!) from Tesco and have just covered the front.
Ladies at my craft club have been making lots of these notebooks and have now started attaching loops of card to the inner back cover and slipping a pencil through the loop.
