I made this card using SU paper for the scallop strips and a Memory Box/ Poppy Stamps sentiment die.
Ombre paper is Webster's Pages, sequins are Doodlebug.

I then adapted it slightly for this week's card club project, swapping the sequins for buttons and the ombre paper for plain layers.

We had fun changing the colour of the SU paper using inks, and most of the ladies made a second card, using more of the paper with coral or yellow themes.

Vellum sentiment is a sheet that came in the box with my Webster's Pages planner
The layered coloured stripes are the ID/ pricing strips that I cut off sheets of 12 x 12, again Webster's Pages (and rare for me that I used straightaway, normally papers are kept and stroked for months days)

I've hand-stitched, first time ever! Usually I do faux stitching but decided today to actually use needle and thread (I'm useless at sewing, can you tell?)

It's funny because I didn't like the idea of putting doilies on cards at first but I do like these heart-shaped ones (still not sure about the round ones though! does it look like you have been raiding Granny's tea trolley?)

Faux stitching and Prima flowers.

Paper is Webster's Pages and was a magazine freebie.
It was too long for my card but I wanted to keep the top and the bottom because they had the printed bits on, so I ripped out the middle.
The top 'thankful for you' and the 'gratitude' were pre-printed on the paper, all the other sentiments were stamped by me using a variety of Waltzingmouse stamps.
