Alien
Card made at SU class.
Lots of punching. The green alien has been stamped inside the card so he peeps through the punched circle at the front.

Friend
All products are Stampin' Up.
The flower stamps are 'two-step' in that you stamp the solid background and then stamp again in a different colour for the detail. To enable accurate placement (wooden stamps obviously would not be an issue with clear ones) I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig.
Prior to going to SU class I had something similar but it was not as easy to use so I sold it and spent the money on the SU version. For a home-made stamp positioner I have seen people use lego and acetate/ plastic so that could be a very cheap option.
I have no connection to SU by the way, am not a demo or anything like that, so when I recommend their (or any other company's products) it is purely as a crafter.

Flags
Kraft card blanks by Papermania (I'm not entirely happy with the quality of these and much prefer the Woodware ones).
The flags are Hero Arts Friendly Flags clear stamps and I've pricked along the top to look like stitching.
Alphabet is Just Perfect by Stampin' Up.

A gift bag to match the card on the previous post.
Just the right size for a small bag of chocolates.
The back of the bag.

Love
We made this at SU class. The plastic heart contains some chocolates and the tab on the right hand side releases them. A nice masculine Valentine's card.
We decorated the back of the card with leftovers from the front.

Love
This is something I have started but not yet finished
It's a Papermania mini album, they're only £3, and I have covered it with SU paper.
I think this is the card I'll give my husband this year for Valentine's Day. The album is meant to match if I have time to finish it before the 14th.

Make A Wish
This one's a bit of a cheat (very similar to the sympathy card I posted a few days ago) but I was pushed for time. There's no rule that says every card has to be totally different is there?
Stamps are by Personal Impressions, card and ink both Stampin' Up.
I've thrown some Glamour Dust on too.

SU desk tidy
Made at SU class. It's a desk tidy comprising calender, pencil, post-it note holder, decorated paper clip and a little space for stashing things at the back. Very clever!

Life Is Beautiful
First SU class of 2011, I couldn't wait to get back into it.
We made this card to match a great little desk project, I'll show that next post.

Baby
My friend had a baby boy the other day, this was the card I sent.
The vellum quote is an old one from DCWV and I mounted it on Bazzill Bling cardstock, attaching with Bazzill brads.
White pearlescent cardstock embossed with Cuttlebug polka dots folder and the ribbon is from my stash.

Biker
I'd stamped this cardblank (using HOTP swirl stamp) intending to use it for something else, that something else was the card in the previous post.
It just didn't look right but I was determind to use it straightaway and not just throw it in a drawer.
I mounted a Kanban topper on some scraps of card and rounded the edges, job done.

Adore
One of my New Year resolutions is to try and use up some old stash (that will probably last all of two days).
The 'Adore' fabric sticker I have had for a very long time so I've just matted and layered and attached to a Woodware blank. (Originally was going to be a tent fold card but it wouldn't stand up so I had to remove the sticker etc and try again, also had stamped some red swirls but it just did not look right).

Noel
This was made at our last SU class before Christmas.
I must admit I am all Christmas card-ed out, it will be a relief to start making everyday cards again!
This one is a cross between a card and a mini-book as there is enough room under each fold to put a small photo.
If I was to make more of this style I would use die-cut letters (my hand cutting is dire).
