Ornaments
Most of my Christmas cards I can give out personally but there are a pile that are going across country so I've tried to keep them flat to avoid excess postage costs.
It made me realise how much I usually use bulky embellishments and foam pads in my card-making!
So, inspired by Tiffany jewellery boxes, this is 2012's flat card design.
I wasn't meant to be buying new Christmas stash and am pleased that I managed to use peel-offs that have been kicking around forever. The white card has a nice shimmer to it that the photo does not show.
Dies are Memory Box: Snowflake Ornament, Classic Ornament and Frosty.

Joy
Papers are DCWV, I added the glitter and bow.
I find with sheer ribbon like this I prefer to make a couple of small holes and thread it through before tying, rather than glue which I get in a mess with (plus it won't drop off in the post).

Merry Christmas
Using up some ancient stash.
Paper is HOTP, it was from QVC back when I would stay up until midnight to see what the craft TSV was going to be.
Sentiment panel - goodness knows where that came from.

Season's Greetings
Lately my mojo hasn't just left the building; it's gone on a round-the-world cruise.
I've found myself surrounded by stash sitting staring into space.
Can anyone give me a kick up the bum and get me started again?

Thinking Of You
My mum's sister should have been celebrating a special birthday in a few days, sadly she passed away suddenly a couple of months ago.
I wanted to send her husband a card on what would have been my aunt's birthday, to let him and her children know that she's not forgotten.
My aunt's favourite colour was pink and her nickname in our family was 'Queen' so I used this Pink Paislee patterned paper with crowns on, and added some dusky pink and dark brown, so it's a nod to my aunt without being too feminine for her husband.
