Margaret

This is a card I made recently for Margaret's birthday. I knew it needed to be vintage/ shabby and thought this Woodware stamp fitted the bill.

The tiled die set is by Sue Wilson. The idea to raise one of the die-cuts on foam pads is from a card by Kim Hodgson of The Stables Card Emporium. Kim makes beautiful cards and the tiled dies (and lots of other goodies) are available to purchase from The Stables. I thought Kim's idea was simple and yet very effective and she kindly gave me permission to copy it.

I coloured the stamped image with alcohol markers, edged the cardstock with distress inks, and then splattered some purple ink across.
