Five In A Row

Flower stamp is by Woodware and is called Five In A Row
It's been stamped on thick vellum and heat embossed in white. I've used Pro-markers to colour on the back of the image.

I've layered the vellum loosely over cream card and hidden the adhesive behind the pink spine piece, this has been punched with an old SU border punch.
Sentiment stamp is by Visible Image

You Move Me

I bought this stamp and die set several weeks ago and have only just got round to playing with it. I didn't look at it properly before I dived in and so after I'd finished the card I realised I'd made a couple of mistakes!

The set is from Stampin' Up! and what you can't tell from the photographs is that the birds appear to be flying when you pull the tag up. It's a very cool effect and really simple to do.

So my mistakes were not to cut a semi-circle from the top of the turquoise panel  - I hadn't even noticed the semi-circle die which is included in the set  -  and the flowers I'm not entirely sure are the correct way up (or maybe the flowers are correct and their centres are upside down? or the centres would maybe look better using the appropriate die?)

All products are SU. Card is 7 X 5

Golden Wedding

One of my lovely club ladies is celebrating her Golden Wedding and this is the card I made for her.

I've used Tree Rings by Stampin' Up! background stamp and heat embossed in gold.
The sentiment stamp is by Woodware - it's a single stamp that I've just repeated, masking off the card-stock first so I'd have a plain space for the '50' to sit.

The 50 is Block Party alpha dies by Sizzix. I cut and layered four times and then used Glossy Accents on the top layer.
Textured cream card is from Papermill.

Notebook

I wanted to give my friend a notebook to help with her wedding planning, this was an inexpensive one from Wilko. It already had a kraft cover but apart from being very plain when you pull the 'Wilko' label off it tears the cover slightly so definitely needed covering up.

I used a Sizzix alpha to cut her name and the panel is by Pebbles - cut from a sheet of 12 x 12

The inside cover I've decorated with a panel by Webster's Pages and I added the date myself.

Just to add a bit of interest I've decorated random pages throughout, not going to show all of them here but you get the idea.

Best Decision

My lovely friend Dawn, the one who recently got engaged, has asked me to be her Matron of Honour. The only time she has been a bridesmaid was actually for me but that was nearly twenty years ago.
I was pleased to be asked but wondered if I was too old...she has assured me I'm not!

I made her this little card to go with a gift, the sentiment jar has been made with SU stamps and dies, I think the patterned paper is Papermania.

Congrats

My lovely friend got engaged recently and this is the card I made for her and her new fiance.
I based the colour scheme on Tiffany's the jewellers because that's what springs to mind when I think of engagement rings (not that mine came from there!)

I used the Tree Rings stamp from Stampin' Up! which I just love. It's a large background stamp (11.4 x 14.6cm) and I've heat-embossed it here with white powder.
I can see me using this stamp a lot for male cards but also for the rustic look that's in fashion at the moment  -  maybe I'll be making some wedding stationery in the next year?

The 'Congrats' die is by Cuttlebug and the hearts are an old Sizzix die. I used textured card and added just a dusting of ink round the edges (Pool Party by SU to match the card-stock)

Fabulous

Stamp is by Woodware

Background created with Pixie Powders and a sprinkle of gold embossing powder (not set with ink, just thrown on while the card-stock was still wet)

Butterfly punch by SU. If I'd found the matching stamp set in time it would have been stamped too! Tidied my pit of a craft room eventually and discovered it hiding under a storage trolley...
