Happy Thoughts

One of our recent club projects, a nice flat card for easy posting.

We used 'Beautiful Day' Altenew stamp set and various inks. I deliberately mis-stamped mine to show the ladies that it doesn't matter if you don't line the layers up exactly ;)

Card is 6 x 6 inches.

Coffee

I've managed to put the puppy down long enough to make some cards, I had to because we needed some projects for the club.

This one is using an Altenew stamp set called Coffee Love.
I stamped and heat-embossed with white powder and then sponged Colour Cloud inks over the top.
Card is 6 x 6 inches.

Merry and Bright

Colour are out of whack on this one, in reality the poinsettia is a much deeper red.

I made the card blank, two from a sheet of A4, and then trimmed about an inch off the front layer on the right-hand side
A strip of gold mirri card was then added to the underneath layer.

All stamps used are Altenew, I've added a little gold gilding flake to the centre of the poinsettia.

The card is quite flat so will be used for my 'need to post several' Christmas card design this year.

Bottle Box

I made a quick box to house a mini bottle for a gift
The stamps used on the tag are by Altenew.

Birthday card made using free papers from a magazine
(didn't realise the card blank was wonky until I saw this pic, how annoying)

Thank You

Stamps are by Altenew
I loved the 'hospitality' sentiment and bought the set primarily because of it.

I stamped on to white shimmer card, heat embossed with white powder, and then added colour using Colour Cloud inks.

I've used Altenew Hennah Elements, Beautiful Day and Calligraphy Alpha sets

Anniversary

The card I made for my husband for our recent wedding anniversary and yes the card front is completely warped (don't ask!)

It's 8 x 8 inches and I've used Altenew alpha stamps for the sentiment.
After I'd cut the papers I was originally going to use my husband helpfully told me he definitely wanted to see some sort of walking theme...

So Woodware walking boot stamp was used with Versamark and clear embossing powder for the background.

Thank You

I needed to make a really quick card to say 'thank you' for an unexpected gift.

I took a landscape card blank and chopped off most of the front, just leaving enough left to attach a tag by Craftwork Cards. I then lined the inside with some ombre paper, again by Craftwork Cards.

Sentiment is a Memory Box die (please ignore the wonky 'k')
The card still needed something adding but I couldn't think what, I didn't want it to look fussy as I know the recipients like clean styles. In the end I die-cut their house number using an old Sizzix alpha, and stuck it on the tag front.

By the time I'd finished the card my new Altenew stamps had arrived and I couldn't resist using them for the envelope (wonky 'e' to go with the wonky 'k'...)

Happy Birthday

I started with a piece of shimmer white card and stamped some Altenew Peony Scrolls stamps and then heat embossed with white powder.

I then used Colour Cloud blending ink in a pale lilac all over the card. A darker blending ink was used to colour inside the flowers (I just used a damp water- brush for this)

The sentiment is a PTI stamp and the tiny dots are from the inside of sequins.
