Card for a friend of mine who loves cocktails.

I used Sue Wilson dies, number dies were from AliEx.

Background is stamped and heat embossed, card is 7 x7 inches.

Same alphabet dies as previous post.

This time I tried plain card but edged each letter with glitter.

Card I made for my brother's birthday.

I bought a set of alphabet and number dies from Crafters Companion recently. I didn't exactly need another alphabet set but this one was a bargain £12, and it's slightly different to all my others.

The set does not cut the whole piece out, it scores down the left-hand side. I wanted to try it out on stripey paper because I needed to make sure each letter was level, and this seemed the easiest way to do that.

 

Happy Birthday

A card I made for Pat, one of my lovely club ladies.

Unfortunately my club is still closed, hard to believe - 16 months now.

For the card I used DCWV patterned paper and Sizzix dies. I think the embossing folder was a magazine freebie, the sentiment stamp is by PTI.

 

Box

I bulk-bought a box of Lindt chocolate bars (Amazon) recently to use as inexpensive gifts. I wanted something slimline that would fit through people's letterboxes if necessary.

I made two different style boxes, one holds three Lindt bars and the other holds four.

Set Sail

While I had my Graphic 45 papers out I thought I'd make another card. Have to say I love their range of papers, I've collected quite a lot so really need to use them up now.

 

Love You

I'm usually very last-minute making cards for my husband. This year I decided to at least try and be more organised, so I'm a good month ahead with our anniversary card.

I've used Graphic 45 papers, I can't remember where the sentiment dies are from - I cut two and layered offset for a shadow effect.

I love the quote here "A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor".

We've both had paddle boarding lessons recently so thought it was quite apt!

Last year I discovered a website called Creative Rox, and managed to buy quite a few bargain sets of dies. This was one of them.

 

Alternative Valentine's

I originally made this as a Valentine's Day card but didn't end up using it. 

Paper is from a very old pad that I bought in TKMaxx. Silhouette die was from AliExpress.

I used letter dies from AliExpress and frame dies by Crafters Companion. Finished card is 8 x 8 inches.

A birthday card for Jan, one of my card club ladies.

I've used Sizzix dies for the flower and leaves, and "Jan"

To make a frame I masked off a square before stamping and heat embossing.

 

New Stash

I haven't bought much new craft stash in the last twelve months, mainly due to my card club being closed.

I recently placed an order with Craft Clearance and was really pleased with it, all the items shown for less than £30 including delivery. I just need to start using it now!

Shells

Something a bit different from cards but making use of the same stash.

I wanted a trinket dish to put rings/ earrings on, and saw something very similar online.

The version I saw was £12+ and I knew I could make my own much cheaper.

The shells are about £1 each (Amazon) and I used decoupage paper adhered with Mod Podge for the grey marbled one. I used acrylic paint for the one shown below. Both shells were edged with a gold leaf pen and then sprayed with a gloss spray (Crafter's Companion).

As mentioned in my previous post, my second Christmas design that I used last year.

This was a flatter card for posting but very similar.

I used a Tim Holtz die and backed it with red sparkly card. I think the sentiment die is by Creative Expressions.

This was one of the Christmas cards designs that I sent out. I made another very similar but a flatter design for posting.
